Tribeca's Feelings After 9/11

Pop-Up Art Show, 2019

As the nearby block to WTC, not only Tribeca, but also its residents were suffered a lot in 9/11. This show aims to show the process of Tribeca recovering from 9/11 through two videos and a performance.

Interview

In this video, I interviewed two passengers in Tribeca to talk about their thoughts and added interviews from some documentaries.

Comparison

This video compares the scenes of places in Tribeca in 2001 and 2019.

Performance

The performance is to entwine strings on the board in front of two videos. It was held in Poet House in New York.

Red strings represent complex feelings of Tribeca's people. When the video ends, I cut specific strings and the word "Tribeca" comes out. It means that as time goes by, people overcome pains and move on.
