I wore glasses since I was 10 years old. So, in this project, I made a pair of "glasses" to allow others to experience how I feel without glasses.

I spent my time without glasses for some days and kept documenting my feelings. And I concluded each experience with a keyword.

Video

The inspiration for the video comes from the "colorful" experience in self-reflection diaries — the vague views without glasses kind of like impressionism. The world without detailed shape expresses more possibilities of imagination. Therefore, I combined the impressionism and classical music in the same period with my vague views, which represented in an out-focus way by camera.

Datamap

I use a scientific style to visualize data about the glasses. Considering the symmetrical structure of the glasses, I choose data that can match each other correspondingly, such as the process of how my vision becomes bad and how the worldwide teenagers' vision becomes terrible.
